What you will be doing as an Accounts Manager:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing a full range of accounting services.
• Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts.
• Lead and manage a team (ideally), providing mentorship and support while overseeing their workload.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of customer service and expert advice.
• Drive the growth of the portfolio, identifying new opportunities for the firm.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong ACA or ACCA exam record with significant progress in your qualification (preferably completed at least 1.5 years of your training contract).
• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Demonstrable experience managing a portfolio of clients, ideally within a practice setting.
• Experience in managing or mentoring a team is highly desirable.
• Strong technical skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
