Accounts Payable Assistant - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyAn leading education organisation located inManchester is seeking a proactive and positive Accounts Payable Assistant to assist their finance team. This role is on a temporary basis, with the potential to permanent.Your new roleYou will be supporting the accounts payable supervisor and wider team;

• Chasing suppliers forVAT refunds
• Reconciling supplierstatement - requesting missing invoices and chasing invoice holds
• Liaise with suppliers forrefunds of debit balances
• Liaise requisitionerson aged holds

What you'll need to succeedYou will have:

• Experience in Accounts Payable function
• Understand P2Pprocess.
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Comfortable using Excel, Microsoft Outlook, ERP system, Oracle preferable.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
