Hybrid: 1 - 2 days in the office

VisionFR is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant on behalf of a dynamic award winning global design agency. Ideally you will have experience dealing with intercompany recharges and intercompany reconciliations.

The Accounts Payable Assistant Key Responsibilities will include:

• Accurate entry of supplier invoices, including uploading of scanned invoices
• Ownership of Finance inbox and all communications with suppliers
• Ability to explain procedures and processes to suppliers and colleagues
• Providing basic training to colleagues with non-financial background (Expense claims, POs, etc.)
• Prepare weekly payment run, setting up payments in multicurrency bank accounts (GBP/EUR/USD)
• Daily reconciliation of all bank receipts and payments
• Monthly processing credit card reconciliations and reviewing employee credit card claims for accuracy
• Monthly processing of intercompany invoices and recharges
• Assist with weekly and monthly cash forecasting
• Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of VAT returns
• Assist line manager with ad-hoc requests

The Key Attributes Required for the Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience of handling intercompany recharges and intercompany reconciliations.
• Experience dealing with expenses and credit cards
• Able to work to deadlines and on own initiative
• Keen to work in a design studio environment and culture
• Paprika is desired but not essential
• Excellent Excel skills
• Great Team player
• Good Communicator
