Accounts Payable Assistant

Join our client's dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Assistant at their Ipswich office. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance and looking to grow their career. You will be part of a team that is integral to their operations, ensuring the efficient management of supplier and subcontractor invoices.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Process high-volume supplier and subcontractor invoices for payment.
- Gain authorisation of invoices in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Manage key suppliers in the best interest of the group.
- Provide an excellent level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders/suppliers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Prior Accounts Payable experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Excel.
