Accounts Payable Clerk - Adaptable Recruitment : Job Details

Adaptable Recruitment is working with a well-established business in Knowsley to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. This role will focus on end-to-end Accounts Payable duties, including CIS payments. The successful candidate will ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

• Processing high-volume invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Managing supplier accounts, ensuring timely reconciliations and payments
• Handling CIS compliance, ensuring payments and deductions are correctly processed
• Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or payment issues
• Assisting with month-end reporting and financial processes
• Supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency within the AP function

• CIS and Accounts Payable experience is essential
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in finance software and Excel
• A proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach
