Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team at [Private Education Company Name]. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and from our London office.Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
