Accounts Payable Manager - Rutherford Briant : Job Details

Are you an experienced Transactional Finance Manager looking to implement your team management and process improvement skills within a successful organisation?

This is a great opportunity for an AAT qualified professional with prior experience working within Purchase Ledger to build on their responsibilities and working within a respected organisation and collaborative environment.

Our client is offering a competitive salary up to £45,000, flexible working, 28 days holiday, a clear route for progression throughout the finance department and much more!

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Financial Controller to ensure the function operates within the financial control and procedures set by the Group policies.
• Processing of supplier invoices, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner with relevant purchase orders and approvals.
• Paying supplier invoices via BACS, CHAPS and International Transfers.
• Reconciling/Filing supplier statements and request copies of missing invoices/credit notes.
• Assisting in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Reviewing the Accounts Payable inbox regularly.
• Developing key relationships with internal and external customers, reporting, external bodies and colleagues across the organisation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 year's supervisory experience within Accounts Payable.
• Well versed in accounting software
• Key attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
