Accounts Payable Manager - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

Manufacturing Group based in Chichester, West Sussex, has a requirement for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to undertake the day-to-day responsibility for the accounts payable function and undertake a full review of the current processes implementing effective changes where necessary.

What will the Accounts Payable Manager role involve?

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the position will include:

• Maintaining the integrity and organisation of the accounts payable, ensuring queries are resolved quickly;
• Ensuring invoices are processed and coded accurately in a prompt manner;
• Preparing payment runs to ensure timely disbursements;
• Day to day management and continual development of a team of 4 ensuring work is allocated effectively;
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team and non-finance stakeholders throughout the business to ensure financial procedures are as effective as possible within accounts payable, implementing improvements where necessary.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Payable Manager vacancy:

• Applicants for the position will have previous experience of managing an accounts payable function and in particular of effectively managing the individuals within a team;
• Previous exposure to improving internal processes and controls would be highly advantageous.

• The role will be office based 5 days a week.
