Robertson Bell are excited to partner with an exciting, Central London based Charity to recruit a permanent Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role you will be taking ownership within the accounts payable function, whilst also being proactive in trying to find new ways to innovate and implement streamlined financial processes!

In this Accounts Payable Specialist role, you will:

  • Process grant invoices to three different partner organisations in addition to processing regular invoices.
  • Assess current financial processes and be able to offer new ways to improve them.
  • Display excellent communication skills to be able to converse with suppliers to resolve possible queries.
  • Take the lead in the preparation of payment runs twice per month, ensuring all suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
  • Play a vital role in numerous important projects across the organisation, such as the implementation of a new portal process.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable, being able to seamlessly complete relevant duties.
  • Preferably, previous experience processing grant invoices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ideally  a background within the charity or wider not-for-profit sector.
