Working within a supportive environment you will be responsible for preparing accounts for clients and managing the client Payroll along with the external provider.Main responsibilities will be:
- Prepare accounts up to trial balance for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Manage and process client payrolls accurately and on time, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Address client payroll queries, advising on PAYE, NIC, statutory payments, and pension contributions.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including bank reconciliations, using software like Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
You will:
- Have previous Bookkeeping experience ideally within a Practice firm
- Have experience of Payroll process’ or be open to learning the Payroll side of the role
- Be able to work in the office 5 days a week
- Be studying towards or fully qualified AAT
