Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Overseeing a portfolio of clients worth approximately £500k, including limited companies, partnerships, and individuals.
- Accounts & Tax Preparation:
- Year-end accounts preparation
- Management accounts and VAT returns
- Corporate and income tax returns and computations
- Compliance & Advisory: Monitoring statutory compliance in accounts and taxation matters, advising clients, and holding client meetings.
- Team Supervision: Supervising junior staff, planning and monitoring work, providing training, and assessing performance.
- Business Development: Promoting the firm's services and managing new client onboarding.
- Liaison: Regularly liaising with the partners of the firm.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
- Minimum 5 years of UK practice background.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to supervise and delegate tasks effectively.
