Accounts Receivable Assistant - The One Group : Job Details

The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a respected business on the outskirts of Wisbech, which has grown healthily over recent years.This opportunity would see you joining the business on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract and would be fully office based and therefore your own transport is essential.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Raising and sending all customer invoices/credits within customer requirements
• Ensure all sales ledger remittances are received in accordance to agreed terms
• Processing bank and cash correctly on a daily basis
• Managing the HSBC Invoice Financing Facility to include daily processing and reconciliation to sales ledger and submissions
• Dealing with the collection of old debts, agreeing various courses of action with Finance Manager
• Maintaining records of all collection activities, e.g. listing all customer contacts, i.e. names, e-mail addresses, tel. nos., logging all calls and contacts
• Managing process to set up new customers on system, ensuring all details are received and agreeing credit limits & payment terms

It is essential that you have prior experience within AR/Credit Control and will be able to hit the ground running within this position. Ideally you would be immediately available, or be available at short notice. Benefits:
