Description

Responsibilities of a Accounts Receivable Clerk:

• Accurately processing and reconciling of incoming payments
• Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
• Generating financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Maintaining and updating customer files, including name or address changes and account numbers
• Working closely with the team to achieve finance objectives
• Communicating with clients regarding billing discrepancies
• Engaging in continuous knowledge development regarding sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Sending out monthly statements
• Assisting with month-end closing

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

• A strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong numerical skills
• Good organisational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
