Accounts Receivable - Global Accounting Network : Job Details

Global Accounting Network are partnered with a fast-growing European fashion business. They are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Assistant to be an integral part of their newly formed European finance team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and evolving organization.Person:

• Oversee the collection, tracking, and allocation of payments from a wide range of European customers.
• Proactively follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely resolution and secure payments.
• Investigate and address payment discrepancies, develop customer payment plans, and monitor adherence.
• Prepare and share weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) reports.
• Track and analyze outstanding balances, overdue accounts, credit limits, and debtor days.
• Provide support for bank statement postings and assist with other finance-related tasks as needed.

Profile:

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial details to non-finance team members.
• Previous experience working within European markets, with fluency in German or French.
• Familiarity with the fashion industry.
