Our client offer accountancy and business consultancy services for all types of businesses from sole traders to PLCs. They are looking for an Accounts Semi Senior, to join their sociable, and hard-working team, working from their modern offices based in Oldham.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation and review of quarterly VAT returns
- Preparation for corporation tax
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain up to date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Account Specialist or similar role within an accounting environment
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, specifically Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent platforms
- Excellent understanding of accounts preparation processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills. Both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience
