Accounts Semi Senior 

Hours: 9:00 – 5:30 Mondays – Thursdays, 9:00 – 5:00 Friday

Sutton 

Salary: 30k - 35k 

We are working with a local practice who are seeking an Account Semi Senior to join their small but growing firm located near the Sutton location. This role will suit a bright and enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude and an enthusiasm to learn additional systems/procedures.  

Day to day responsibilities:   •    Preparation of Clients Annual Accounts (Company and Personal)  •    Preparation of Corporation and Personal Tax Returns  •    Preparation of VAT Returns (minimal) •    Assistance with other areas in the Accounts Department.  •    Other ad hoc duties as required, including answering telephone, post and greet and meet clients.  Reporting to: Accounts Manager with some interaction from Directors   

Person specification:       •    Qualified/Part qualified in ACCA or ACA  •    Experience of Limited company accounts completion  •    Experience of corporation tax  •    Experience of personal tax •    Display excellent initiative  •    Be diligent  •    Work well under pressure  •    Work well individually as well as take part and support other team members.  Any other accountancy-based qualification would be desirable but not essential.  System experience but not essential:•    Xero  •    Excel  •    Tax calc •    VT
