Your new firmThis is a promising opportunity to join a strong, independent practice located in Bolton, who are seeing real growth and expansion. They specialise in all services in accounting, with a client portfolio that covers sole traders, SMEs, OMBS, limited companies and more, giving you some great exposure to a variety of industries. Due to the continuous growth they are currently seeing and plans for the future the firm is now seeking an accounts semi senior to join their accounts team.Your new roleYou will be joining a team of other accounts professionals, who you can both learn and develop from. Day to day duties will consist of providing a strong customer service to your clients, with proactive tax and accounts knowledge. You will be preparing and submitting VAT returns, statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and self assessment tax returns to HMRC in regard to accounting guidelines. Other duties will consist of assisting and training juniors to be up to the new guidelines.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role you will need prior experience within an accountancy practice, minimum two years; you will need to be studying towards your ACCA or ACA qualification, whilst being up to date with the current accounting and tax legislation. You need to have the ability to work to targets, whilst ensuring deadlines are met. Other aspects you will need to be successful in this role would be having the ability to work as part of team whilst assisting juniors to complete their work.What you'll get in returnIn return you will be offered a competitive salary ranging between £25,000 to £30,000 (DOE), whilst having the opportunity to join a developing team with other accounts professionals to learn from.
