A rapidly growing, forward-thinking Top 30 accountancy firm is looking for a Senior Accounts Associate to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a vital role in providing accounting services to a range of clients, including SMEs, solicitors, and charities. This team is growing and can offer excellent routes for progression.

Your role as an Accounts Senior:

  • This business' goal is to become the UK's leading tech-enabled accounting firm for SMEs, and they are actively building a team of high-calibre professionals to support this mission.
  • Prepare accounts for small and medium-sized limited companies and LLPs, primarily from trial balances as well as manual client records.
  • Prepare industry-specific accounts, including those for solicitors and charities.
  • Provide detailed discussion notes for client meetings on accounting and tax-related matters.
  • Engage directly with clients to resolve queries and provide valuable recommendations.
  • Prepare management accounts and cash flow projections.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Applicants will be ACA/ACCA-qualified or finalists.
  • Familiarity with IRIS accounts production would be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping software such as Sage and Xero.
  • Comfortable with complex reconciliations, such as CIS and VAT.
  • Highly enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Full rights to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
  • A Full driving license and access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
