Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a highly progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their team.

Ideal for an ACA or ACCA Qualified (PQ or MAAT also considered) individual working in practice looking for continued professional development, an excellent work/ life balance, and lots of flexibility.

You will gain exposure to an interesting and diverse client base from a broad range of sectors, providing accounts and tax services including regular client liaison.

Excellent remuneration and benefits package, the option of working from home, and tailored progression plan towards becoming Senior Client Manager. Part time also considered.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnershipsCorporate tax computationsManagement accounts preparationReview of VAT Returns & bookkeepingTraining clients on accountancy softwareLiaising with HMRCClient meetingsDealing with client queriesAssisting Junior staff

You:

ACA / ACCA QualifiedPQ or MAAT Qualified also consideredPractice experience is essentialKnowledge of accounting software such as Sage or Xero (ideally)Strong written and verbal skills
