Key Responsibilities

• Preparing Financial Statements: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reports.
• Overseeing Accounting Operations: Managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Conducting Audits: Coordinating and participating in audit processes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing financial plans and budgets based on data analysis.
• Tax Preparation: Preparing and submitting tax returns.
• Financial Analysis: Providing insights and analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
• Supporting Junior Staff: Offering guidance and training to junior accounting team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
• ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
• Must live a commutable distance from the Canterbury area.
