Accounts Supervisor

Due to a sustained period of growth our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join their award winning business.

You will work closely with the Accounts Manager in ensuring that the day to day operation of the UK finance team runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervision, training and mentoring of 4 direct reports and 3 indirect reports.
• Providing developmental support to team members.
• Ensuring that transactional processes are operated in a timely and accurate manner.
• Dealing with escalations in all aspects of purchase ledger and sales ledger queries, ensuring they are resolved effectively.
• Ensuring excellent communication and business relationships with other departments, clients and suppliers.
• Financial reporting relating to statistical data on both ledgers and talking through findings and resolutions with senior management.
• Proactively looking at ways to improve systems, processes for performance improvement.

You should have excellent purchase ledger and sales ledger skills, being able to see the processes through from start to finish. You will also have previous supervisory experience, the ability to work in a fast paced environment and excellent organisation and communication skills.
