Accounts Supervisor - Layka Recruitment : Job Details

Sunbury based freight forwarder are seeking an Accounts Supervisor to join their friendly team. Salary up to £38,000 + private health & dental cover. Duties will include:

• End-to-end bookkeeping and accounting
• Performed accruals, prepayments
• Handled expense reporting & bank reconciliations
• Credit control duties
• General accounts duties
• Purchase ledger
• Daily bank reconciliation of GBP Sterling, Euro & USD accounts
• Conducted month-end reporting, including trial balance preparation & statutory accounts
• Prepare & file VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
• Preparation of year-end accounts & payroll
• Adhoc duties

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Sage 50, Excel desirable
• Experience in freight forwarding industry an advantage
