A leading Mid-Tier Firm with an office in St. Ives is Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team. You will be looking after accounts and tax returns for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, offering a salary of £24,000 - £36,000 depending upon experience and the opportunity to study towards ACA/ACCA.

Responsibilities:As an Accounts Assistant, you will…

• Prepare financial statements for companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as completing the corporation tax returns
• Completion of personal tax returns for directors, sole traders and rental accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts
• Utilise Excel and IT packages such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks

Requirements:As an Accounts Assistant, you will need…

• Ideally 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a Practice environment
• AAT qualified or nearly qualified or QBE
• Experience producing accounts and preparing tax returns
