Accounts Trainee - Wealth Management
Our client is a fast-growing Wealth Management firm and due to growth of the business, they are looking to bring an Accounts Trainee in to join their team.
The Accounts Trainee will be responsible for various Accounting and Administrative tasks, including preparing accounts, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, payroll assistance, and maintaining accurate customer and financial records.

Accounts Trainee - Wealth Management
Responsibilities
- Prepare accounts working paper and draft accounts files for review by senior staff members
- Complete monthly bookkeeping for client and liaise with client for any required information
- Assisting senior staff members with ad-hoc accounting tasks such as cash flow statements and forecasting
- Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing
- Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records and creating new customer accounts
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Collecting monthly direct debits and making payments
- Preparing and entering journals into the various accounting systems
- Preparation of audit working papers and assist with audit enquiries
- Reconcile balance sheet monthly
- Assist with monthly Payroll (Sage Payroll)
- Attend to accounts payable queries

Requirements
- Previous demonstrable experience working in a similar role
- Experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- AAT qualified, or working towards ACCA or ACA qualification
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Excellent listening and presentation abilities
