An excellent opportunity has arisen with our professional, reputable and established client as they seek to recruit an Administration Assistant on a permanent full time basis to join their small and friendly team within their offices in Burgess Hill. This role is available due to strong business growth levels within the company

Administration Assistant

Permanent, full time role - office based but with flexibility to work from home to attend appointments / medical appointments.

Mon-Fri 0900-1700

Role based in Burgess Hill

Salary £25000-£26000 per annum plus very good all round company benefits. 25 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team within a friendly and welcoming office. Experience within the insurance or financial services sector is not essential but could be beneficial

The role - Administration Assistant

The purpose of the role is to provide effective and efficient support to the Operations Director to ensure the smooth running of the business in addition to completing finance/accounting tasks, compliance support, third-party audit and claims reviews

Duties will include:

Liaising with external agents to enable collation and review of management information

Support Compliance in the collation of product information

Undertake ad-hoc product and market benchmarking

Support Account Management with the review and issuance of policy wordings

Attend internal meetings, preparing agenda and meeting minutes/actions

Field inbound calls - general enquiries

Manage and respond to client referrals

Manage any complaint referrals and relevant complaint logging

Accounts reconciliation and cash matching processing within the finance system

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Good organisational and numeracy skills

Ability to take initiative to achieve results

Good communicator and able to work across departments

Ability to take ownership and work independently to achieve results

Understanding of the general insurance market beneficial but not essential at all.

Good computer skills required
