About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Strategic Attendance Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will foster a sense of belonging across the school, promoting safeguarding and high attendance by effectively collaborating with students, families, pastoral support services, and external agencies. You will be responsible for analyzing attendance data, guiding interventions, and evaluating their impact to ensure every student thrives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Attendance: Closely track and analyze attendance statistics, identify trends, and intervene appropriately with the support of our Attendance Administrators.

• Promote a Supportive Environment: Create a warm, safe, and welcoming school environment that celebrates and rewards high and improved attendance.

• Identify Barriers: Understand and address attendance barriers, ensuring consistent communication about attendance and punctuality expectations.

• Collaborate Effectively: Work with students, families, pastoral support services, and other agencies to support student attendance.

• Data-Driven Interventions: Utilize data to inform and guide interventions, continuously evaluating their effectiveness.
