ADMISSIONS SUPPORT OFFICER A prestigious London university is looking for a strong administrator to support the Community and Public Engagement team. This role will involve supporting room bookings, managing the inbox, processing payments, and writing copy for internal communications within the university. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, an adaptable approach to task prioritisation, and a proactive, can-do attitude. ADMISSIONS SUPPORT OFFICER ROLE:
- Creating summaries of seed fund projects for the website
- Monitoring the inbox and forwarding queries to the relevant team members
- Monitoring sign-ups to masterclasses and updating invites and spreadsheets
- Arranging catering and room bookings when required
- Supporting the setup of rooms, printing, and arranging layouts for training
- Collaborating with Talat to find solutions for office storage, purchasing equipment, and liaising with team members about requirements
- Continuing the audit of web content requiring updates
- Updating specific overview pages, e.g., funding overview page
- Raising POs, managing virtual credit cards, processing NPF forms, and journaling seed funds
- Supporting room bookings, scheduling, catering, circulating agendas, and taking minutes
- Filtering images from photography, removing those without photo consent for uploading to the image library
- Scoping, designing, and producing QR code business cards for the team
- Revisiting the funding spreadsheet to gather opportunities, priorities, and schemes from different funders
- Arranging and hosting visits from external stakeholders
- Collating content, writing copy, and creating the monthly newsletter using Mailchimp
- Pulling stats from Mailchimp to create quarterly performance reports for key comms channels
- Promoting masterclasses by providing copy for departmental newsletters, posting on Teams and Yammer
ADMISSIONS SUPPORT OFFICER ESSENTIALS:
- Minimum 1 year experience in an administration role
- Proven experience writing communications
- Experience working with higher education institutions
