Job Description :

Purpose of the Role

The role of Administrative Assistant is pivotal to the success of the Centre Management operation as this person will share in the running and organising of our customer facing Information Centre. The candidate will need to ensure excellent customer service is given to customers and tenants and they are able to provide close liaison between all on- site parties, including management, security and cleaning personnel and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer service relating to the centre
  • Reception meet and greet duties
  • Data Processing
  • Ensure that the telephone is answered in a professional manner and within an appropriate ring time.
  • Deal with all ad hoc general enquiries and help build the relationship between tenants, contractors and centre management.
  • To ensure visitors records and passes are administered correctly.
  • To deal with all visitors to the scheme
  • To assist with some health and safety responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • General education to GCSE standard with an A-C grade in English, Maths or equivalent standard.
  • Reliable, helpful and well presented.
  • Ability to work in a team, or alone under direction of the Operations Manager.
  • Team player with strong customer service skills, able to provide a helpful and polite service.
  • Pleasant telephone manner and efficiency in relaying messages and taking instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with confidential information
  • Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and multitask in a calm and professional manner
  • Able to work under pressure to deadlines
  • Careful and conscientious with an aptitude for attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to learn on the job , keen to undertake training
  • Ability to understand and assist with Health and Safety duties

Working Hours - 30 Hours per week.

Salary - £17,846.40 per annum.
