Administrator - Gillingham - Temp - £12.82 per hourAn experienced Temporary Administrator is required for 6 weeks for our client, a well-established business based in Gillingham, Dorset. This role will suit someone that is highly organised with good attention to detail and time management skills.Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain updated records of standard operating procedures
- Manage training records on internal and external systems
- Provide day to day support with general administration tasks
- Assist with planning and organising training courses and keep all records up to date
- Maintain good stock levels of supplies required for the site's emergency team
- Support with site emergency and security administration tasks and manage associated processes
- Support with EHSS inductions and refresher courses
- Provide support to the manager and wider team with meetings and other departmental tasks
- Liaise and co-ordinate with external partners to ensure services are delivered
- Update and manage the site access control processes
- Track purchase orders and manage supplier queries
- Act as point of contact for general enquiries and requests
- Organise visitors access and maintain approved visitors and contractor lists
Key skills and experience:
- Proven experience working within a similar role
- Knowledge of health & safety and/or security experience is advantageous
- Confident IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new systems and processes
- Prioritising workloads to meet tight deadlines and ability to work with a variety of tasks
- Accurate data entry and extract information to produce reports
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately
- Ability to pro-actively identify areas for improvement and propose, document and implement new processes
- Willingness to learn new skills
