Job Title: Administrator

Location: Woodview Child Development Centre, Crow Wood Lane, Widnes, WA8 3LZ

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Trust Location: Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Role type: Temporary role for 3 months with possibility of extension

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the community clinics and associated health professionals and will actively participate and contribute to the development of the service
  • To provide a first point of contact for NDNT service for all service user enquiries, responding to telephone and face to face enquiries in an efficient, tactful and professional manner, redirecting calls, prioritize and taking action as appropriate. Using knowledge to ensure confidentiality and data protection. These enquiries may require the job holder to have extensive knowledge of the clinical services they support to resolve problems. Liaising with internal services and partner agencies when necessary
  • Attend and administer duties relating to panels for children with special needs, ensuring the administrative function is provided in a timely fashion; as required. Retrieving voice mails and actioning appropriately
  • Be part of a central booking system to have an efficient approach to appointment management including the cancelation and rearranging of appointments
  • Entering patient data into the correct clinical diary for allocations and ensuring that clinics are booked with the appropriate clinician.

    • NVQ 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care or equivalent demonstrable experience/Education (highly desirable)
