Our client is looking for an experienced administrator to join their dynamic and fast paced team within the construction industry based in Sidcup. We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent time management skills, good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task!
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Keep files and databases organized and up to date.
- Work closely with the team manager to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Do various office tasks as needed to help the department.
- Communicate with people inside and outside the company to make sure things run smoothly between departments.
- Monitor departing costs.
- Make sure documents are processed quickly and correctly.
- Looking after the out of hours mobile on a rota basis, to handle the emergency works calls
- Handling multiple tasks at once, and being able to prioritise
Skills/experience:
- Experience of working in a similar environment E.G working within an office that supports services
- Self-Motivated, flexible and reliable
- Strong ability to work towards deadlines
- Be a good team player
- Intermediate to advanced level with IT skills especially MS Word and Excel
- Experience of working within administration
- Experience within the construction/engineering industry desirable but not essential
