Administrator - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyWe are seeking a highly organised and efficient school administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the school, providing administrative support to staff, students, and parents. As a School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for all administrative queries and will ensure effective management of the school office. You will work closely with the school leadership team to support the day-to-day operations of the school. Your new roleThis school is currently looking for a full-time administrator to start as soon as possible. Your time in this role will include:

• Manage the school administrative functions,
• Support with reception duties; managing phone calls and responding to emails
• Maintain student records and ensure data is accurate in the school system
• Hand out equipment to students, including timetables
• Support the finance admin team with light duties, petty cash, adding money to student accounts.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate would be:

• Administrative experience in a professional environment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional at all times
• Proactive

We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.What you'll get in returnAs well as receiving a competitive rate of pay, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an outstanding school.
