About the Role
My client, a leading Portsmouth based IT Services organisation, are seeking a candidate to act as Team Lead for their recently forming Level 1 IT support team.
The candidate will require solid foundations of IT knowledge, and be comfortable taking lead and responsibility for high quality Level 1 customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Service management and reporting – managing the ticket quality process.
- Leading a Level 1 ticket based IT support team
- Ensuring consistently high quality standards of customer support
- Carrying out incident support using troubleshooting skills.
- Taking part in delivery of ticket quality reviews
- Team Management duties such as rota management, performance reviews, 1:1s, recruitment etc.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience (1+ year) in ticket based NOC or 1st Line Support environments
- Great customer facing abilities
- Previous experience working in ticket based environments
- Demonstrable experience leading teams
- Being able to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Work under pressure and to agreed targets in a fast past environment.
