Gleesons has been partnered with a Global Freight Business, looking for a Senior Air Freight Professional to join there High Growth Business.

The opportunity will allow the professional to further excel there air freight skill as well further enhance there Import / Export Skills with training provided if required.

Job Title: Senior Air Freight Coordinator ( Import / Export )Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 +Bonus / Commission

Work Type : HybridLocations: North Birmingham

Duties:

• Effectively manage service operations, supply information, and generate quotes for Air
• Coordination of Freight movements via Air
• Provide exceptional customer service across all transportation channels mainly ocean and Air.
• Oversee the entire shipment process to ensure precise and timely bookings.
• Expedite the processing of shipment information to prevent potential delays.
• Communicate with customers to provide tailored quotations based on their specific needs.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of customs regulations, dangerous goods handling, and insurance procedures.
• Collaborate with customs brokers, furnishing them with accurate information for swift import clearance in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identify and report any impending claims, gathering necessary details for prompt and professional claims processing in line with company protocols.
• Interact with customers professionally and courteously.
• Contribute to business development initiatives.
• Maintain precise documentation, records, and system updates to uphold data integrity.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2 Years minimum Within a Freight Coordination
• Experience with Air Movements
• Key Account Management
• Cargo wise Experience
