ALLOY WHEEL COLLECTION & DELIVERY DRIVER.

Stephen James BMW is looking for an Alloy Wheel Collection & Delivery Driver to join the Alloy Repair Team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry.

YOUR ROLE.

As an Alloy Wheel Collection and Delivery Driver, you’ll be an integral part of the alloy repair team. Your role will be crucial in safely and efficiently removing damaged alloys and transporting repaired ones between local businesses, our southern centres, and the Enfield workshop. This will help optimise workflow. Time management and organisation are key to ensuring alloys are always available for the workshop. Additionally, you’ll be expected to provide exceptional customer service.

The main duties of the role include:

• Drive a Mercedes Sprinter Van, starting from Mercedes-Benz & smart of Dartford, making stops at our southern Stephen James centres, and finishing at the DCA centre in Enfield.
• Safely jack up vehicles and remove alloy wheels for repair as instructed.
• Accurately label and record all alloys and the work being done.
• Return repaired alloys to the correct vehicle and axle.
• Be proficient in removing and refitting alloy wheels, including managing tyre pressures and torque settings for specific vehicles.
• Collaborate with onsite coordinators to efficiently manage collections and deliveries, maximising repair workloads.

YOUR PROFILE.

• Previous experience as a Tyre fitter, Alloy wheel technician or SMART technician.
• Strong communication skills and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and proficient driving skills.
• Have a passion for customer service, with the ability to build rapport and trust effortlessly.
• Be eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid, clean UK Driving Licence for at least one year.

SALARY AND HOURS.

Basic salary £27,500 per annum with an OTE of £32,300 per annum

Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm
