What You’ll DoAnaesthetic Excellence
- Prepare and ensure anaesthetic equipment is ready for action.
- Partner with anaesthetists during every phase of anaesthesia, ensuring a smooth and safe process.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs with precision and care.
Patient Care Like No Other
- Deliver comfort and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Ensure patient positioning promotes surgical success and safety.
- Uphold the highest standards of perioperative care, ensuring patient safety at every turn.
Master Equipment and Infection Control
- Maintain and troubleshoot anaesthetic equipment for seamless operations.
- Manage and stock essential supplies, keeping everything ready and reliable.
- Keep the operating theatre sterile and safe, following strict infection control protocols.
Be a Team Player
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary theatre team to achieve excellence in patient outcomes.
- Share knowledge, participate in training, and support your team’s growth.
Drive Quality and Safety
- Ensure impeccable documentation of patient care.

What You BringQualifications and Certification
- HCPC registration and current BLS/ALS certification.
Experience and Skills
- Proven success as an Anaesthetic ODP in a theatre setting.
- UK work experience
- Expertise in anaesthetic techniques, drugs, and equipment.
- Calm under pressure, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
