At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.

We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That's why we're looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.

This is an opportunity to join Cancer Research UK's Assurance department which is essential to our Sustain Strategy and brings together several teams: Safeguarding, Fundraising Compliance, Health & Safety, and Retail Profit Protection & Compliance. The purpose of Assurance is to champion compliance and protect the charity by ensuring that regulatory & legislative requirements are met and understood across our 600+ shops, 2,500+ staff in our offices and labs and beyond in our community of volunteers and fundraisers which enables us to be an inclusive, sustainable, and agile organisation.

A key part of our strategy is to improve our processes, tools, ways of working, and governance so that our staff have the right tools and skills they need to do their best work, and the charity is as cost-effective and well-run as we can be. This is a newly created role for you to shape, meaning you'll have the opportunity to drive and influence how we deliver this change and its scope.
