Application Developer

Gloucestershire Contract £550 - £660 per day Inside IR35

Background:

Our Client is seeking an Application Developer to deliver new capability which is paramount to various priority workstreams, including collaboration and 'journey to cloud' technology changes.

This contract role will require you to already hold a valid DV clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Write, test and deploy data processing to meet customer requirements

* Filter and compliance check data movement between customers/domains

* Deploy and maintain a set of in-house Kubernetes clusters for application deployments in multiple domains

* Maintain NiFi ansible roles for users to spin up their own clusters

* Offer NiFi advice, guidance and training

* Contribute software and infrastructure towards the teams innovation effort

* Contribute features and bug fixes to open-source projects in use by the team.

Required skills and competencies:

* Python

* JavaScript

* Basic RHEL/CentOS

* React experience

* Django + django rest framework experience

* CI/CD, with Jenkins is a plus

* OpenShift

* Terraform for infrastructure
