About the Role

Join a top-tier professional services firm as an experienced Applications Engineer/Packager, where you’ll manage and support essential Legal and Microsoft office applications. This role requires troubleshooting applications to a 3rd line level, creating complex training materials for 1st and 2nd line support staff and focusing on automating software deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line application support issues, frequently engaging with users.
• Develops documentation, training, and communication resources to improve "first-call" resolution for support teams.
• Engagement with QA team running initial test scripts.
• Uses scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, SCCM) to deploy software at scale, collect system data, and resolve issues.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand challenges and represents user needs to vendors.
• Stays updated on professional services application trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Windows desktop engineering within large enterprise environments, with strong knowledge of SCCM and PowerShell.

Skills

• Proficiency in document processing tools.
• Experience with software packaging tools. (SCCM, Installshield)
• Experience working in a professional services environment.
