Position: Dental Tutor AssessorLocation: Remote (with occasional travel for learner observations)Salary: Up to £30,000 + Performance Bonus (up to £4,000)

If so, Tempdent offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified Dental Tutor Assessor to join our growing team and support learners across the UK.

About the Role:

As a Dental Tutor Assessor, you will play a key role in supporting learners to achieve their qualifications through both remote and in-person assessments. You will manage your own diary and be responsible for delivering engaging assessments, providing quality feedback, and fostering a positive learning experience. You’ll help students meet their career goals while maintaining high standards in line with industry and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular online and workplace assessments for dental apprenticeship and standalone diploma learners.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all assessment documentation.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to learners.
  • Manage a caseload and schedule to maximize assessment opportunities.
  • Conduct learner progress reviews with both learners and employers.
  • Support learners in preparing for their dental tests.
  • Comply with all health and safety, safeguarding, and equal opportunities regulations.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Minimum Level 3 Assessor Qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, V1, D32/D33)
  • Active GDC (General Dental Council) Registration
  • Level 3 Training Qualification (AET, PTTLS, or equivalent)
  • Qualified Dental Nurse with experience

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience assessing dental apprenticeships or diplomas.
  • Experience teaching or delivering national diploma or advanced apprenticeships.
  • Strong communication skills, both in person and remotely.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote-based team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
