We are seeking an Apprenticeship Manager to provide operational leadership and management within our Apprenticeship programmes. This role involves ensuring excellent resource management, successful achievement of qualifications, and enhancing the overall learning experience for both apprentices and employers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Head of Department to develop and update the curriculum to reflect sector changes and compliance with national standards.
- Teaching Commitment: Deliver up to 10 hours of teaching per week, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and enhance the quality of programme delivery to ensure outstanding learner outcomes and experiences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective relationships with employers, ensuring their aspirations for quality and delivery are met.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support the Apprenticeship Trainer Coaches, setting performance targets and conducting regular reviews.
- Resource Management: Oversee resource planning, budget management, and ensure all staff are well-equipped and trained in using educational technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Must have a Cert Ed/PGCE or relevant teaching qualification, a degree or equivalent, and appropriate Level 3 subject specialism.
- Experience: Proven experience in leading educational teams, developing teaching strategies, and managing quality assurance frameworks. Familiarity with the Common Inspection Framework and experience with awarding bodies are essential.
- Skills: Excellent leadership capabilities, ability to inspire and manage teams, strong analytical skills for data interpretation, and adept at planning and prioritising.
