Description

As the Area Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage the Operations team, overseeing performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and audits
• Drive operational performance to meet production targets while maintaining quality and efficiency standards
• Monitor and optimise production schedules, proactively addressing potential issues
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and efficiency enhancement
• Build strong cross-departmental relationships and ensure effective communication across teams
• Oversee quality assurance processes in collaboration with the QA team

Profile

• Proven track record in manufacturing/production leadership roles, particularly in FMCG environments
• Strong people management skills with experience leading large teams
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities
• Comprehensive understanding of GMP, safety, and environmental regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills
