Area Sales Engineer Aberdeen Remote with travel.
Purpose of the jobTo plan and carry out sales activities across all product categories to new and existing customers to maintain and develop sales of services through our network of service centres. In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.Main tasks and responsibilities
Researching the specified region and identifying new sales leads for pump, electro-mechanical and turbo service salesMeeting with customers over the phone, email, or on site to assist in aspects of business developmentMaking presentations and demonstrating how our products/service meet client needsManaging and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needsGenerating sales proposals and contractsMaintaining the CRM to show customer communication and sales activityMaintaining a healthy and up to date pipeline of opportunities within the CRMWorking with the engineering team/Service Centres to ensure development schedules and deliveries are being metAttending and/or participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing eventsEnsure that the Sulzer sales process is adhered to and the sales funnel for your respective region is maintained, updated and managed in accordance with process requirementsEnsure delivery of key KPI's, such as: customer visits per week, order intake, number of new customers obtained, conversion of enquiries to order, profitability, response to enquiry timeAttend training to develop relevant knowledge and skillsDeveloping and growing long-term relationships with customersNegotiating tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needsMeeting/exceeding sales targetsSupport marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other relevant event Interested?
