Milk Education are thrilled to be recruiting for a dedicated ARP SEN Teacher to join a primary school based in Ealing. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Autism Resource Provision (ARP), supporting children with special educational needs in a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive environment. The school is Ofsted rated 'Good' with fanyasyoc transport links. 

About the RoleAs an ARP SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons and interventions to students with special educational needs, particularly those with autism. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals to ensure that each child has the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students within the ARP provision.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with autism and other special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team, including teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.
  • Foster an inclusive, nurturing environment where students feel safe and supported.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students.
  • Maintain detailed records of students' progress and contribute to annual reviews and reports.
  • Support the school in developing and enhancing its ARP provision.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with autism (experience in an ARP setting is a plus).
  • Be passionate about working with children who have special educational needs and a commitment to their development.
  • Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Be adaptable and patient, with a positive and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to provide a structured, supportive learning environment.
  • Be committed to continuous professional development.
