Job Opportunity: Design Technology Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

• Teach Design Technology to students across various age groups, inspiring a love for the subject.
• Develop and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
• Support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Design Technology curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in teaching Design Technology or a related field.
• Experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor with substantial experience in Design Technology will be considered.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Employment Details:

• Initially working through Reed, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
• Position starting in January.
