• Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring art and design lessons that engage and challenge students across a range of abilities.

• Assess and record students’ progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and artistic development.
• Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art with other subjects and participate in school events and exhibitions.
• Stay updated with current art trends and educational strategies to enhance teaching practices.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Art and Design.
• Experience teaching Art and Design in a secondary school environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Passion for art and design, with a strong portfolio of personal or professional work.
