Our client, a well-regarded secondary school in Waltham Forest, is seeking a talented and dedicated Art & Photography Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This full-time role starts in January 2024 and offers the opportunity to inspire students in Key Stage 3 Art and Key Stage 4 Art & Photography. Job Requirements

• Plan and deliver engaging Art & Photography lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
• Inspire and support students to develop creative skills and an appreciation of visual arts
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their best
• Work collaboratively with the Art department to ensure a cohesive curriculum that encourages creativity and skill development

Qualifications & Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching Art to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with knowledge of Photography at Key Stage 4
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Passionate about supporting and inspiring students to express themselves through art
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching
