Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative and engaging art lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional and academic growth.
• Work collaboratively with the wider school team to support individual student needs.
• Use art as a therapeutic medium to help students express themselves and develop resilience.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience teaching art, ideally within an SEN or SEMH setting.
• Strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to engage students effectively.
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
