Art Teacher (QTS or Unqualified)

Art Teacher required - Ofsted 'Good' Alternative Provision School - January start on a long-term basis (potential permanent option) - £169 to £259 daily

Tradewind are currently recruiting for an Art teacher to cover Maternity at a school in Hatfield from January, possibly sooner.

You'll be working with small groups of up-to a maximum of 6 students at a time in a unique learning environment at an Academy rated by OFSTED as 'Good' in all areas, with Outstanding Features. This well-funded, small school of only 50 students has excellent facilities and resources with parking available on site.

Suitable candidates will...

• Have recent teaching experience and good references.
• Be passionate about teaching and have strong classroom management skills.
• Be offered a fixed 12-month temporary contract (with the possibility of permanent employment after 1 year)
• Be hardworking, committed, and open to further professional development including a full induction programme if newly qualified.
• Be confident in your ability to manage behaviour, encourage participation and passion for arts-based subjects.
• Be paid in-line with the Main Pay Scale for London Fringe (£33,074 - £50,470 PA on the qualified teacher scale)
• Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply if you have relevant experience.
