Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor. Location: Nottingham, East Midlands. Salary / Benefits £ 24k - £40k + Training + BenefitsFuture Select are specialists in the Asbestos industry, and we are currently recruiting for a nationally recognised Asbestos Management provider in the Midlands who are now seeking to take on a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be joining our clients longstanding team of surveyors, working on longstanding Educational, Industrial, Healthcare, and Leisure sites ensuring to carry out the full range of surveying services in line with HSG 264 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors and progression into Health and Safety. Due to the nature of the role, our client would also give consideration to candidates at trainee level looking to expand their knowledge and experience in a rapidly growing team / company. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Beeston, Derby, Stroke-on- Trent, Burton upon Trent, Coalville, Lichfield, Tamworth, Leicester, Corby, Kettering, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, West Bromwich, Walsall, Tamworth, Lichfield, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Solihull, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Worksop, Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Scunthorpe.Experience & Qualifications: " Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role." Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. " Will be familiar using TEAMS / TRACKER systems. " Well versed in HSG 264 guidelines. " Able to work on a mixed portfolio of sites, including Educational, Industrial, Healthcare, and Leisure. The Role:" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines to carry out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys. " Sampling of suspected ACMs on site, ensuring that they are all bagged safely and labelled correctly prior to sending for analysis. " Producing technical reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems. " Carrying out asbestos awareness briefings when required. " Working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
